Torsion Springs
Does anyone know a reason/rule that would prevents us from using torsion springs to provide the motive force on a kicker mechanism?
Most rotation kicker type mechanisms that I have seen here are using the surgical tubing which take up a lot of space. Our thought is properly sized torsion springs at each end of the kicker axle could do the same job and not require the robot space that an extension type spring would require. Thanks MechJim |
