Post Movie Animation

For any one who watches alot of movies (like me) I've noticed that there have been many movies credits that have been animated, many with textures that I have seen in diffrent team animations, most notably the movie "XXX" I think those were the best ending credits that I have seen in a while. I was just thinking what if a FIRST animation had some animations like that, I know that its probaly not possible with the software FIRST gives us but, I still think it would be cool. Has anybody else seen this in any other movies or is it just me?

Cool

Yeah, I checked out XXX and the credits seemed like the more worked on than the movie. I am not sure if animating credits is a good idea cause it takes a lot of time away from the actual animation. As for Max, it can do what XXX had in my opinion, just can't be done by me, at least not yet.

Yeah, those were really good. When I was younger the opening credits of Spawn were what got me hooked on 3D.

I went to see XXX... I want my money back but the credits were interesting. Try watching them and trying to walk down the steps outta the theater I almost killed an old lady lol. I think animating the opening credits is cool but the end credits.... I still like the black screen and all the names cycling by I mean if I want to figure out some one name and actually watched that I think I would have been sick. Looks cool but I mean it's not functional.

I think they should have the main characters animated individually (have each one on the screen separately like in Jurrasic Park which is the only movie I can remember that had it like that although there are probably more I just don't know any since I can't remember. Sorry.) and then switch to the just the scrolling credits for everything else.

Yeh, I thought the xXx ending credits were pretty cool, just one of those... "Hey, we finished early..now what?" (I know, a FIRST team has yet to experience that....) I gues.... But they did go into the scrolling credits after those were done, OBVIOUSLY you people went for the move Mere mortals... and not just to see how the credits were executed!

and for the record, that stuff between the opening credits and closing credits...whatever that was, it was pretty cool in my opinion (even though after just finally seeing The Sum of All Fears, I was thinking "Didn't we just have this move..."). But you really need the guy that at the end of the avalanche scene yells "Hooya!" in the theather...yeh, every showing of xXx should have that guy in the back...lol.

You mean you didn't sit and wait for interesting thingsdurring the credits? There are always interesting things durring the credits...

Like the "outtakes" at the end of Toy Story....those were funny.
