ROOKIE TEAM STUCK!!!!

When trying to configure the IO Module, we can not seem to find the saved hex file needed. We have added every update to everything we can possibly find, but it is still not there. When following the CS Manual we get to p 56 and are stuck. Where it says file path we have a message that says file not found. If anyone knows where we might have went wrong or how to find what we need we would appreciate the help!

Re: ROOKIE TEAM STUCK!!!!

Have you looked in C:\Documents and Settings\Developer\My Documents\?

I couldn't find mine at first, so I did a search for partial file name of FRC_IO and I found it.

Hope this helps.

Re: ROOKIE TEAM STUCK!!!!

I thought the hex file was installed in the All Users/Documents location. Note this is called different things on different OSes.

Re: ROOKIE TEAM STUCK!!!!

You may have to re-run the driver station update, uninstall the Cypress component, then re-install it. This worked for us (we also had to do this to the driver station to get the update.)

For us, I believe it was under the All Users document folder.

I hope this helps.
