cRio problems

Hey guys I been trying to reimage the cRio but every time I try it saids that the cRio is not found, I all ready have all the updates and the right ip address and still does not work, should the stop button be conected I am using the classmate any help!

No E-stop button is necessary.

How do you have the Classmate connected to the cRIO? By Ethernet cable?
Or are you using some other PC?

To connect the cRio to the Classmate, you have to use a crossover cable and there is a orange cable included in the kit of parts. Attach in port 1 of the cRIO and to the classmate. Power up the cRIO with a battery (I used a printer adapter at first). Then run Imaging tool and you should be able to pick up the signal if not refer to this:

And make sure you updated the classmate software and updated everything else including Labview and driver station. Even though this is not the solution to the problem it is required to update everything

It tells you to use an IP address something like 10.xx.yy.5 that didn't work for us so we ended up using 10.xx.yy.0

Our cross-over is pink not orange, I don't know which color your is, but hopefully that helps!
