Fellow FIRST Members,

For those who would like to support the FIRST Lego League Teams in Haiti can now donate via PayPal by visiting www.lakaymarie.org and clicking on the donate link. Despite the tragic events that occurred in Haiti, the students, consisting of 12 teams, are still excited about participating in the Haiti Regional Competition and the World Festival in the US. Given the recent events, it has become even more challenging to make this possible and we can use your help. As some FIRST members already know, this organization was started by FRC alumni members from Florida and it’s important that this organization can continue its goals of furthering the progress of FIRST teams in Haiti. Over the last several years, the winning team from Haiti has attended the World Festival. This is what the students strive for and look forward to the most. As fellow FRC members, you can understand the excitement of attending Nationals. We ask to help where you can and that any donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your support.
