Basic Stamp 2 connection to serial cable.

OK so my situation is I have a Basic Stamp 2 module but no Parallax homework board. I am wondering how do I connect my stamp to my computer serial cable so that I can program my module ?

Re: Basic Stamp 2 connection to serial cable.

If you have an extra serial cable that you can damage, you can solder up your own small row connector.

The serial cable pins 2,3,4,5 go to the Stamp 1,2,3,4 (1+2 are TX+RX, 3 is Reset (for programming), and 4 is Ground)

The rest of the pins are not used for programming.

Is your stamp in a breadboard?
