3136 Progress so far

well we're a rookie team and i guess we might be moving slow but I'm proud of our frame so far... we've come this far with a hacksaw and plastic yellow miter box doing most of our cutting, and pop rivets all over the place are all that're holding it together, and there's still much to be done, but eh I figured I'd post pics of what we have so far... its not amazing but we're proud of it

Re: 3136 Progress so far

Looks great, My team Rookie team 3375 just got moving last week, We just built the frame that came with the kit from AndyMark. Today I just got our camera working. We did how some problems turning though, probably because we screwed up our weight distribution and all the weight is on one side, DOH.

Believe me, you are ahead of some veteran teams. Looks great. (*yells at teammates to quite prototyping*)

Don't know if your talking to the OP or me, but we are pretty much prototyping or "figuring things out"... but hey, 2 weeks of hard work and we have an unmanned vehicle (Just got the camera feed working today too). Now we are working on getting a kicker working, haven't settled on a design yet.

Re: 3136 Progress so far

As Tony hinted at, our team's favorite tool is a hack-saw! So don't feel bad that you don't have fancy tools, you don't really need them, they just can come in handy.
