Driver Station?
I got confused on the Driver Station:
Are we going to use the Classmate Laptop as the driver station this year? Or still the blue block, the one we used last year? Or we can choose between them? Which one should we plug the joysticks into? Please enlighten me. |

Re: Driver Station?
You must use this year's Classmate netbook as your Driver Station.
Plug the joysticks into the USB Hub and that into the Classmate. Last year's blue box is not legal (but can be used at home if you want). |

Re: Driver Station?
The Classmate PC will be used as the Driver's Station this year.
The "blue block" that served as the Driver's Station last year is not legal for use this year and should not be included as part of your system. The joysticks should be plugged into a USB hub attached to the Classmate PC. I'd highly recommend you read through the Control System Manual Chapter's 1 and 2 found here to assist you in setting up this year's control system. These documents will cover how to setup and test your control system for use this year. |
