Testing Help

Is there some way that i can just have labview open on another laptop computer and just click the run command to test the code and edit on the fly. As opposed to logging on developer, build the code, run as startup, open driver station then it doesn't work, change the code, build the code, test and repeat.

Re: Testing Help

Yes.
Your other laptop just needs a compatible IP address and to be connected along with the Classmate through a router to the cRIO, that's all.

You can also just run the Driver Station app in the Developer account to avoid switching back and forth and to enable you to use the "Run" button.

Re: Testing Help

So your saying take the other laptop ethernet port into the (blue or yellow port) of the blue router. then from the blue router (blue or yellow port) to the classmate. then i can run it on the non-classmate? (robot turned on obviously)

Re: Testing Help

Not the yellow port.
Any blue port will work.
