camera connected to crio- transmits to remote dashboard not local

yes we have the updated dashboard on the drivers station.

when using hte driver station we have no camera image (and no errors).
when using remote dashboard from another computer, we get the camera image.

the camera is connected to the crio and communicates to both stations via wifi

any ideas why this would happen? how can we get the driverstation working?

thanks!

It helps to know what language you are using.

In addition, you say that you have the new driver station on the laptop. I want to confirm that you see two arrows above the (blank) camera image and a dial indicator to the right of it. Is that correct?

Are you running the driverstation and dashboard software from the developer account, or the dedicated driverstation and dashboard accout?

Can you confirm that your driverstation has a static IP of 10.xx.yy.5?

Are all the lights on the diagnostic tab lit green?

For the image portion of dashboard feedback, the robot acts as a TCP server. This means that if you have a dashboard open, it can connect to the server, regardless of the Local or Remote setting in the Driver Station. The server is designed to only have 1 connection at a time, so if you close the remote dashboard, you should start getting images on your local dashboard.

ack this was a ridiculously stupid problem- we had the unupdated labview running on the computers that we were loading the code from.

updating EVERY system to the newest version of everything made it work

gah
