I was going to post a thread like this after the Metalheads thread got my music mind on track, but why not revive this very similar one I found with the Search function?

None of these are particularly new, I've just actually gotten into music since college.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? - You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into - I was looking for "loud electronic rock" and stumbled upon this inspired little album. Kind of Daft Punk like in the sounds it uses, but more... screaming.
The Postal Service - Give Up - I'm about 7 years behind, but I still like electronic indie pop, and you still can't beat The Postal Service.
Death Cab For Cutie - Narrow Stairs - ...or Ben Gibbard in general. Emotion without emo.

I've been listening to a lot more radio than CDs/iPod lately, so I haven't listened to a lot of complete albums, but the most recent two have been Lovesick Electric, by Hot Chelle Rae, and Bad Vein's self-titled album. Both were because I was handed the demo CDs in journalism the other day and was asked to write reviews, and I ended up liking both bands a lot.
