Using KPA and YAZ-FX terminals

I would like to remind everyone at this point in the build, that all electrical connections need to be insulated. In particular these terminals from the KOP need insulation. The YAZ are quite easy to use with heatshrink. The KPA are a little more difficult but still can be effectively insulated with either heatshrink or tape. Depending on which you choose, the terminal needs to be insulated at the battery and the Power Distribution panel. Remember that the battery is capable of delivering 600 amps into a short. Burns and battery damage can result. Dangling jewelry is a great conductor if it brushes against exposed conductors and terminals.
If you are using the KPA, please make sure to strip enough insulation to allow at least 1/8" of bare strands to extend beyond the connector when the #6 is inserted. It should look like the picture in the data sheet available here... http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles.../KPA4CUNPL.pdf
If the wire strands do not extend beyond the clamp, the wire can be squeezed out the other end. As always, the wire is inserted between the clamp and the terminal. It does not go between the screw and the clamp.
