MATE ROV Help!

I'm helping an ROV team do the wiring of the sensors and actuators.
Here's the main site and the competition missions:
http://www.marinetech.org/rov_competition/
http://www.marinetech.org/rov_compet...ions_FINAL.pdf

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how to waterproof a solenoid? Thanks!

Re: MATE ROV Help!

Team 842 is a past MATE champion and started the National Underwater Robotics Challenge (NURC) modeled after FIRST.

There is a ton of information on the NURC website in the "How to" section:

Re: MATE ROV Help!

Probably depends on the solenoid! Sprinkler valve solenoids are kind of waterproof already. They don't have much stroke though.
