Question Gyro Problems

I am from team 1825 (Cyborgs) and as of now my team and i are haveing troble with our Gyro. As far as we know it was wired and connected correctly. but it is over heating. if anyone could give us ideas on how to fix the problem please fell free. (note: if you need pics on how we wired the Gyro just ask and they will be provided.)
