nadavsen2 is an unknown quantity at this point
something about pressure

There is any way to open the piston only half way? and without timer or something like that. I mean with different psi everytime..

tnx

Re: something about pressure

If you use two solenoids, you can use a lower pressure regulator and have to separate working pressures, let's say you have one at 30 psi and the full 60 psi on another. They use to (still do?) include adjustable pressure regulator.

Re: something about pressure

As long as the pressure on one side of the piston is higher than the other side of the piston, the piston will move until something causes it to stop or the pressure on both sides of the piston is equal.

Re: something about pressure

If you are using them to retract (or compress) a spring, different PSI will result in different lengths.

If you need multiple 'fixed lengths', use multiple cylinders & valves.

If you need proportional/adjustable lengths, you can use two solenoids. 1 double to move the cylinder back and forth, and a single connected to the exhaust of the first. Opening the second solenoid will allow motion.
