I'm Ian Woloschin (don't ask how to pronounce it, just figure it out yourself ), and I'm a junior at Smithtown High School. This is going to be my second year on 810, The Mechanical Bulls, (I wish I could say third, but oh well). I was a driver, programmer, and as of the end of last school year, Co-Captain (the other one is Dan). Apart from robotics, I'm on the school debate team (and yes, I helped to start that too), although I'm not very good at debating when there's rules . I'm also currently a Life Scout, working on my Eagle Project (I still have a few merit badges though). On my own time I'm somewhat of a computer nerd, although not as much as some people here.

I spend way too much time online, so if you're bored and want to talk to me...

AIM --> Woloi
Tigerbolt --> IanT810 (or something else similar to that)

If you IM me, just say you're from CD, cause some random people IM a lot (my brother and he's friends) and I'm decidely hostile towards them .

I'm Bill Gold. Tough one, eh? I guess you could say I'm a college student, but most things I do involve FIRST one way or another. I was 258's team leader for part of the '00 season, and all of '01. I came back as a college mentor / assistant advisor for the '02 season. I'm also casually looking for another team to work with in the (preferably southern) SF Bay Area for '03. I also spend a fair amount of time in Tigerbolt. I guess that's about it.

I'm me. I like piņa coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

I'm a pseudo-senior at Stony Brook University, going through an academic crisis of immense proportion, and currently looking to transfer away into another program.

I helped start 263 in my senior year of high school, and mentored them the following year. 271 took me under their wing in 2001, and this year, with a tiny bit of help from my University, I helped to start 810 and do what I could to ensure they had a fun, successful year.

In the FIRST downtime, I travel the country riding as many different roller coasters as possible, and otherwise enjoying what our amusement parks have to offer. I also have an interest in graphic design, illustration, architecture, and some other odd areas of study.

I'm a bad seed. An ugly duckling. A red-headed step child. I don't play well with others, usually, but only by reputation. Usually, others don't play well with me and my unique perspective on life.

My future is up in the air in almost every respect, I think.

Oh, I also like to ramble.

I'm Dan Levin. A senior at Berkley High School in Berkley Michigan, I live in Huntington Woods Michigan. I am ( in my opinion ) one of the most devoted member's on my team, currently in my 3rd year. I enjoy all aspects of our team, building and designing the robot, 3dsMax animation, fundraisers and the such. I had back surgery last year, so I'm not a sports person, but I do enjoy making a fool of myself while trying to play them. I'm frequently on AIM, which my family despises, as we only have one phone line, and a dialup connection, you can reach me at: UncontainedFury

My name is Stephen Rawls, and I'm on 122. I'm a big computer geek (programming more than hardware, but i like both), and i can't escape robotics Besides FIRST, I helped build a robot for Robotica on TLC (its name was KaNuckle Buster, it did very well untill another 'bot broke its chain), and I'm going to be on a team that competes in the DARPA robotic challenge (the one where the robot races from las vegas to las angelos), assuming we can get sponsers. Oh, and when I got an internship at NASA, I turned it into a project that helped our FIRST team (i built robots that used sensors and feedback control, to show the potential to new members and to show off to the judges)

Ok,

My name is Michael Massa. "Ex" - Team Captain of team 522 the RoboWizards currently based in Staten Island, NY. I am about 5'4" brown hair & eyes. I enjoy Biking, long trips to my job via Bus Train and Ferry. I like light rock / rap / country and pop music. Oldies music i also like but only during 6 weeks of torture from the coaches.

Info for the ladies. Any cute 18 yr.olds looking for a b/f. I am a caring lovable person with a good job and in need of comapinionship. lol. Hey you asked for a lil about myself. or is this a bit much.

I like to repair computers, bikes, and anything else that is easily able to be taken apart and put back together in less then 3 hrs.
I also like to mess around w/ Front Page. I succesfully made a complete ameatur website.
unfortunately i graduated HS and my career and title with the robo-wizards is kinda up since my job and its hours keep me from enjoying what i call my hobby - robotics. this will be my 3rd year involved with team 522. hopefully we will not be 2nd. best for the 3rd year at the NYC Regional. we might make 1st. "might" big emphasis.

Back to the respectful ladies. Any ladies who live in NYC that want to go out for a good time IM me. the AOL name is somewhere in my profile.
Inappropriate - yes.
Will it hurt to ask though - no.

Mike

Guten Tag! My name is Ashley Weed, and I will be a Senior at Towanda High School in Towanda, PA. I will begin my fourth year with Chuck 84 (WATTNESS). I work in the fabrication/build group, I am THE OPERATOR, and I do basically most of the scouting stuff. Outside of Robotics I play flute in marching and concert band, and play the piano. I am a Senior Girl Scout. I am a dancer and have performed at Lincoln Center in New York City. I am the only female marksman in my school, and the first ever to place in the top three in competition. I also shoot for another team and qualified as a NRA Sharpshooter. I have won more awards as a driver for team 84 then my schools football team has in the past 20 years. I am almost fluent in Deutsch! Auf Wiedersehen!

Hi, my name is Mayank Agrawal (dont ask on how to pronounce, i have heard 10 diffrent versions of my name, one of which is Mary Ann (?), and really dont care.) I am vice leader and a senior member of team 810 of Smithtown. I usually help out with alot of things, but also have a lot of downtime which led some of my team members to call me the "Team Slacker".
I am currrently working in a lab at a nearby university (prety exciting). During my downtime i talk to my friends, hang out somewhere, or go to a movie if i am really bored. But right now most of my time is spent on my computer for some reason.
If any of you want to contact me, I am almost always online on:-

I'm Brandon. I try to keep order here. People like me. People don't like me.

I work alot. I'm getting married in 38 days. I have a website that I don't keep up as much as I would like to.

I sell webspace for spare cash.

FIRST story:
No, I was never technically 'on' a FIRST team in high school. My dad is one of the coaches on team 47, and I started helping with this website in 1998, because I kinda knew HTML. In doing so, I taught myself PERL and PHP, and improved my HTML. If I hadn't worked on this website, I possibly wouldn't have the necessary skills to complete my every day tasks at work.

I graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with BS in CS a few months ago.

I like music.

I like to write in choppy sentences.

My name is Jestin McCarthy, pretty tough huh. I've been a member of 131 C.H.A.O.S. out of Manchester, NH for 2 years now. Its been some of the best times of my life therefore im coming back to help the team again this year. I'll be a freshman at the University of New Hampshire this fall. I met my girlfriend (Giselle T287) in Hartford in 2001. So far things have been going very smoothly with us, so I guess FIRST relationships can work out. She is attending MIT. Hmmm I'm a very good alpine skier, love all outdoor activities. You name a sport and I've probably played it. Born in Los Angeles, CA on August 6th 1983 so yea im 19. I have a brother just entering high school, and yes he is joining robotics. Two parents reside at my house. Thats about it. Any questions just ask.
