Humans are the third most intelligent species on Earth, the dolphins are the second... and mice are the most intelligent. It is the mice who rule the world.

Everyone knows that the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything is 42.

Well, everyone that read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/hhgg.html

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and Life, the Universe, and Everything are the good ones. I recommend So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish if you liked the first 3.

The other books aren't that great and I only recommend them for diehard hitchhiker fans.

The series is probabaly the funniest books I've ever read. You have to really have a brain to understand the jokes (they are also british-oriented), but the books also really make you think in a different way.

Yeah.....its 47.

They made a typo when transposing the book from writing to print. The #7 looks an awful lot like the #2 when writing sloppy.

bah... you should've read So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish.

They reveal the question in there, but they are not sure if it is correct or not, because Arthur was taken off the Earth 10 seconds before the computer simulation was complete (and it was blown up). I don't seem to remember what the question is... I read it about a year ago...

I don't mean to spoil anything... but God's final message was.... "Sorry for the inconvenience."

This thread is getting pretty odd... I think that it's a little too random and topic-less even for the Chit-chat forum. Brandon, close please?
