Camera Lag
Hello,
We are using C++ and using the AxisCamera class to control our camera. Right now, all we do with it is set the resolution to 160x120 and set the brightness to 0. However, when we run the code, the camera display on the driver station lags EXTREMELY badly, usually 5 seconds or so (sometimes more), and skips a bit too. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem or how it could be fixed? |

Re: Camera Lag
The posted C++ update should fix the lag that you are seeing.

Re: Camera Lag
Well, after much trial and error, these are the steps that helped use get LIVE video finally. The post by Greg about doing less on cRIO does not seem to apply to robots programmed in C++.
1. Get the latest C++ update, make sure it is installed correctly. 2. Make sure the Driver's Station update installed the top half part correctly (it didn't the first time) 3. Apply the graph removal patch (link) Finally, we now have live video. |
