Joystick and 4way hub

so im plugging the USB joysticks into the 4way hub, and the 4way hub into the Classmate itself, but im not getting any connection. 1st of all, is there supposed to be a power cord for it (cuz we dont have one), and second, are there any drivers i need to DL

Are you plugging in the black USB connector to your PC?

No drivers. No separate power supply.
The hub gets power through the black USB connector, however, if the devices need more power than that you can also use the red power USB connector.

ive tried plugging each in (and both). either way, they arent showing up on the FRC Driverstation thing

At least one other team reported that the USB hub they received in the Kit of Parts does not work. You can use a different hub.
