2010 axis camera

Were a rookie team this year and have hardley any idea what were doing. I have configured the camera as the instructions said to do, but in the web browser on the live view screen. It says that the axis media control has not been installed. Do you have any idea how to get that?

Re: 2010 axis camera

You may want to try viewing the camera's stream in Internet Explorer. If that doesn't work, go in to the settings and look for how it displays the image. Select 'Java Applet' for both IE and other browsers. Doing that made it work well for us.

Good luck!

Re: 2010 axis camera

If I recall, (and it's been a while since I set up the camera), that is actually downloaded from the camera and installed by your browser when you connect to it.

What browser are you using, and did it alert you that it's trying to install something?

(Someone let me know if that's off base - it's been a month since I set up the camera last).

Re: 2010 axis camera

I suppose you don't have Java installed in your computer, go to the Java website and try to do a "test". it will tell you if you have Java or if you are not current with their updates.
