Shipping Crate/Pit Workstation Designs?

Hi. My team has decided to rebuild our shipping crate/ pit workstation, due to the fact that our last one has become old, outdated, and flimsy. I'm wondering if anyone would like to share pictures of their crate/workstation opened up so that we can learn a few good ideas from them.

Thanks in advance,
GR

Re: Shipping Crate/Pit Workstation Designs?

Our crate has two halves above the pallet base. They separate with one half still attached to the pallet and the other comes loose and can rest on a level floor. Just think of a box with bottom and one side removed. On the inside three upright walls of each shell has a couple of 2x4s that form supports for plywood sheets spanning the inside space. These shelves provide space for the many diverse items that a team needs to keep handy during a competition. I seem to remember some screwing of the plywood to the 2x4s too. Can't be too careful with shelves. I looked for pictures from last year, but I only have the constructs in the background.
