Question Would Pneumatics give enough of an impulse force for a kicker?

So, here's our problem: I'm confused on whether or not pneumatics would be a good idea for a kicker or flippers. So, what do you guys think?

Probably most teams are using Pneumatics for their kicker/flippers, just to let you know.

My team is fudging it, but if we have enough continious air, we're sure it will work.

Re: Would Pneumatics give enough of an impulse force for a kicker?

When we were testing our kicker, we found out that there wasn't enough momentum being transferred from kicker to ball with just pneumatics. The elastic bands really provided the extra kick.

Pun intended?

I agree though.

Use of surgical/elastics is preferred for efficient kicking.
