Taking Over the Serial Port (C++)

Is there a way to disable stdout to the serial port, and then use it via the SerialPort class (while retaining network console capability?) - I need a dedicated serial port for an LCD screen. Otherwise I would probably have to bit-bang rs-232.

Re: Taking Over the Serial Port (C++)

The "Console Out" DIP switch on the cRIO controls stdout through the serial port. The network console will work fine no matter how it's set.

Hope this helps.
