2010 New Jersey Regional

Hey you guys!!!

TEAM #1382 is extremely excited to return to the origins!!! NJ regional is where we start (as our friends of TEAM #1860) and we have no intentions to go away again!

We know that is one of the most hard and special events of FIRST, and we are working hard (on the robot, and in the team spirit) to be worthy to participate this year!

I'm mentor of the team, and i was talking with the others "oldies" about our participations in the NJ regional and about the teams, etc... TEAM #1676 The (PI)oneers,was yours first season in 2005, maybe 2006? Was in NJ regional right? I remeber yours incredible pitstop infrastructure and organization... absolutely a model to be followed.

hey teams! don't worry about the language... in Portuguese or in English we gonna understand each other... after all we speak the FIRST language!

TEAM #11 will be great to be with you again, even more talking in portuguese !!!

Yes, our first year was 2005, and we most certainly remember you guys! It is good news to hear you are coming back again, it will be very good to see you again!

237 is thrilled to be back in NJ this year. Really looking forward to it.

Venue question #1 Are there any concession stands that will be open while we are there? DD's?

Venue Question #2 Does anyone know why the event is not listed on the venue site?

I was so excited when I saw that 237 was coming to NJ this year. I really enjoyed playing alongside you guys in 2008 at the Philly Regional.

But, to answer question number 1, Yes, most of the concession stands have been open in the past few year. And there is a Dunkin' Donuts - I've been there many, many times.

So, just about 2 weeks until Trenton, the robot is shipped (whew!), we have snow, 2 Brazilian teams, and competition looks to be hot.

Oh, and I only have to take one vacation day to be there.

Can't wait.

I'll be coming up on Saturday and maybe Sunday from Philly - it'll be my first event where I'm not working competing at all. Should be an interesting experience, but jersey's always fun.

It snowed a lot on sunday, its gonna snow on tuesday, and again on sunday, so it is very cold here. Hopefully it'll warm up for the regional(it's usually not that cold here).
