HELP! Robot Communication

We are having trouble with getting our robot to communicate with the controller. It will start jerking and get intermittent signals. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. If anyone can suggest some different things to try or possible problems, I would love it.

Thanks

Re: HELP! Robot Communication

What type of Troubleshooting have you done? Like checking for a low battery?

Re: HELP! Robot Communication

We tried different batteries, but it all had the same problem. There have been many theories, such as a short (we checked) and there being not enough space around the wireless. I don't know where to go from here though.

It is lagging when it does work, so it makes me think there is something software, but I have no idea because I am on electrical/mechanical.

Re: HELP! Robot Communication

Is the power off the dedicated 5V (I think, check the Power Distribution diagram first) WAGO connector on the cRIO? If it's not, that could be the problem.

If I remember correctly, the wireless adapter is 12V?

Give us any other details about the setup and it could be interference from another source too.
