How can I extend my wireless reciever's power chord

I need to extend the power chord on the wireless receiver. Can I solder longer more wire on, or just connect the wire with electrical tape. Or do I have to buy wago connectors?

solder and tape well. heat shrink tubing over the solder connections if you can. obviously make sure there is no contact between them. another consideration is crimp on connectors. (butt connectors most likely). there is nothing saying you must use wago brand connectors. just make sure the end connected to the PDB is connected using the supplied wago connectors.

Re: How can I extend my wireless reciever's power chord

hannigan,
The proper method would be to obtain the correct connector from Radio Shack, Digikey or your local supply house and make a cable of the correct length. Other attempts are jury rig fixes at best. All of your robot commands run through the wireless adapter, if it dies so does your match.
