I wonder how many mistakes scouts make using these. The problem is that the scout may not know he made a mistake ("Did I tilt it enough?"). I think it would be interesting to video tape your robot driving for like 10 minutes and keep track of all the statistics using the Wiimote. Then compare the scouts numbers with the video evidence. If there is any significant difference between the scouts average and the actual number from the video evidence, I would be wary of using this system.
