Re: Robot Names

2008: Foothill Flyer 1.0
2009: Leviathan

We still haven't picked a name for our 2010 bot; votes are currently split between Captain Falcon and Excalibur. I'm pushing for Captain Falcon.

Re: Robot Names

Our robot's name this year is ButtKicker 2010 edition. Just kidding, but the real name is equally bad...uh.... I love my robot, team, and country, but the name is just horrible. I wanted to name it Sqanto, but the team leaders (majority girls) decided on Elenor Dante Rigby 3.0.

Re: Robot Names

2009 was Cthulhu.
We haven't decided for this year, but we are considering Ackbar and Mephistos, among other things.

Funny, our robot was almost OTIS this year, although all caps. Funny, then someone on the team (a mentor) who hadn't seen the robot in weeks (yeah, I know, not sure how it happened, she's more business type, I guess) emailed saying the name was Striker.
