Some girls tend to steer away from the people involved in things such as robotics because of the stereotypical views of these 'dorks' building their 'little robot things'. HA Shame on them!
Everyone who's Anyone knows robotics is really cool and stuff.
Not that everyone is like this, the robotics program seems to be more accepted and it's really just a lack of knowledge of the program and what we actually do. Anyways, Relationships aren't a necessity. Think of your life as a Large milkshake. Now, with a relationship , think of it as a Jumbo milkshake. It's always nice to have that extra stuff, but it's not necessary, and then you start packin on the emotional 'weight'. I dunno if that made sense or not since I just made it up, but oh well.

relationships can occur at any moment anywhere. it is very possible to have a bf or gf in F.I.R.S.T or in high school. high school relationships are no different from any others, just how they were formed, thats all. some people can handle it, and some cant, but they can occur at any time. a lot of people can make a relationship work even though circumstances seem impossible. you just have to remember, if there is will, there is a way.

In some cases... true that!!!

I am just going to make some comments from previous posts. The first thing was about all hs relationships end up making you cry. Actually in my case Robotics is the only thing that makes me cry and the relationship has kept me sane. I also agree that a relationship has emotional attacment, and just isn't friends with benefits.
For now, I will stop, if I think of anything usefull, I will share.

Hey now, it's bad enough with everyone trying to dis everyone else on here, don't go dissing yourself. As corny and stupid as it sounds, beauty and sexiness all come from the eye of the beholder. And the most important thing that affects what view one person or another has of that "sexiness" or beauty is what comes from the inside.

Relationships can be great. I date a robotics chick, and it's great. She knows exactly where I come from and it has worked well. No, they are not essential. I think that people have to balance their lives between work, school, themselves, and god knows what else. If you can balance a girlfriend in it, great, go for it. The one thing I learned is you always have to try things out before you really know.

I dunno...my 2 coppers...

Chief Delphi = rocks

I would like to thank Chief Delphi for existing. I met Tim through threads about Magic: The Gathering, and Mustard on Hamburgers... And now we've been going out for over 2 1/2 months.

=D

relationships = makes life better

and yes, we know that Tim rhymes with Kim...

Edit: and, yes, Robotics boys are MUCH sexier than regular boys.

Sometimes, yes, but are you sure you'd want to be with the type of girl that wants only a bad boy? Sometimes, yes, but hopefully they'll learn....
