What zone is your robot built for?

So the season is winding down and most teams are pretty close to completion of their robots (some more than others). I'm curious as to how the game strategy breaks down this year. Did teams flock to one position? or will it be a fairly balanced game this year?

Re: What zone is your robot built for?

We are designed specifically for midfield. But we are able to travel between zones if we absolutely have to.

Our robot is designed to be a brawler bot. High torque, high maneuverability, fast kicking.

Re: What zone is your robot built for?

The robot is designed to play in any position for flexibility, but ideally we will be starting in the middle or far zone and advancing to the middle to fight for ball control, as that's where a high traction drive is ideal. Mecanum oriented friends can run short range shots, or we can set picks for more mobile alliance partners.

Our untuned kicker with no spring tension (yet) can get a ball over one zone pre bouncing, so we should be set.
