So excited for Finger Lakes Regional!
Just a short safety note…my mom is deaf and at the competitions we all look out for her. Someone will say “Robot coming through” and because she doesn’t hear, she often gets jostled about. Last year we finally pinned a button to her back that states “I am Deaf” and it did seem to help.
In doing my pre-scouting, I see that we are welcoming rookie Team 3162, RoBoComm-X, to the Fingerlakes Regional and they are from a deaf school. Please take a moment and discuss with your teams the importance of not assuming you are being heard when you ask someone to step aside. Thanks and see ya there!

I would totally be into that. Last year was awesome. My only conflict is that my sister is going to be coming in on Thursday night to volunteer at FLR, and I don't know how late she will be. I hope she gets here at a reasonable time so she can go taggin' with us.
