[FTC]: High Score of the Year?

We entered the Idaho FTC event, where we teamed up with 245 for a score of 594. Is this the high score of the year so far? Just wondering...

The Canadian team right. I was told by Idaho's Main Feild Manager (Brian) it was. Though what was the single robot alone's score? Because we scored alone as a single robot 311 points.

Don't know. The alliance captain was 417 and 245 won Inspire.

Here in Florida i believe the highest score is 407-74.

We hold a high "official score" of 207-1

Unofficial i believe is 370-45 or something like that.

We are improving our robot for states in 2 weeks.

But i heard that there is a team here in Florida that can score 500 points on there own!

The Florida high score is 485 by an alliance consisting of teams 1369 Minotaur and 2868 Smoke and Mirrors. This score was achieved at a state qualifying tournament. Our state championship is February 27th.

I talked to 417's team captain today. He said both robots scored a ton and the final score was 594-60.

it only we had a super alliance partner xD, we could have scored over 600 xD

There should be plenty available at Nationals.

What's interesting is what happens when you have a good alliance versus a good alliance. They starve each other of balls, play defense, run cat and mouse. This is why we've only hit high scores of just over 200 or so. We've one had 1 chance at a high scoring runaway match, yet we tried so hard for it the kids overstuffed the bot. Heh. We'll see how VA championships go next Saturday (27th). I plan on having the drivers test some very wacky strategies.

Pictures or videos of these matches and or robots would be very nice to see. Does anyone have a link where i can see these or can someone post pictures or videos, if you are willing.

Yeah that's true the fun thing about our bot is that it drives around and picks up balls so fast it's from one corner to the opposite corner in 2 seconds. I intend to make getting balls difficult. Plus getting an entire tower in Autonomous helps as well.

I'll post a pic of our bot but we arent allowed to post videos due to we don't want people stealing our stuff lol Mentor's rule .
