Timer Delay

The time Delay in my program isn't running a specific command for the amount of time I tell it to in the delay. Instead it pauses my program for that set amount of time. Is there anyway to use the "wait" command? Or is there anyway to fix that delay?

Re: Timer Delay

I'm not sure I understand the question, but if you are talking about edu.wpi.first.wpilibj.Timer.delay(), then it does what it says - it causes the calling thread (your program) to pause for a while.

Oh - is the problem that the robot is pausing instead of driving (or whatever) for the expected time?

In that case it could be a watchdog problem? You need to keep feeding it, and if your delays are longer than the watchdog expiration it will time out.
