Talking Couch Potato Anyone?

I am currently working on an off season project with one of my friends. We have been making plans and gathering materials for about the past year to build ourselves a motorized couch. It is a pretty big project, but it will all be worth it when we are done. While we were working on our drivetrain yesterday, I started wondering if anyone else has an off season project to keep them busy and their keep their engineering and building skills tuned. So, anyone have any stories to share? Let me know if you would like pictures, im sure I could get some up here if i tried.

I am currently working on a minibike and a custom frame for an RC car. I would really like to see some pictures of your project - I will post some of mine when they're finished.

Well basically, we are mounting a couch on a golf cart frame. We bought the golf cart from some guy for $125. Its old, but it still runs. The engine needs to be wired up and cleaned, but we deal with these kind of engines all the time during the season, jut usually not ones as big as this one is. We are currently in the process of removing the body from the chassis. After that we will clean the chassis, paint it, and replace the battery trays. When we are done it wont even look like a golf cart. The wheels wont even be visible anymore. Tomorow night we are pulling an all night work session, Ill take some pictures then and post them for everyone. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, feel free to post them.
