I think it's more likely that the scrimmage gives people a preview of what the season is going to be like in Week 1. It looked exactly like a game played by many teams still tweaking (and building) their robot systems.

oh...ok thats my bad... yes i do agree with you because many teams didn't have their drivetrains fully working properly... many teams are using swerve drive and mecanum wheels and didn't know what to expect and properly drive them... if you noticed that most of the rookie teams drove the best because they are using the standard drivetrain from the KOP and had the best results... i think by week 3 or 4 that all the teams will be at their best stage and will have been able to master their drivetrains to the utmost perfection
if you want to repay us for the omni-wheels, use the money to help out a few rookie teams next year. Buy them batteries or help build them bumpers, anything you see fit will be much better than cash back to us. - AllenGregoryIV [more]
