Having a deaf team there sounds interesting. Some of our team members have talked about it, and it looks like a good opportunity to practice our sign language (at least for those students who know ASL - for the rest of us, it's a good chance to learn). Does anyone know a good website that gives a crash course in sign language? (Or iPhone/Droid app.) I'd also be particularly interested in learning the signs for things related to robots, which might actually be useful at competition.
On a sadder note, 217 will no longer be attending laser tag on Thursday night, or so I've heard. Apparently, too many other teams are doing it, and they don't have enough room for us. I can understand, as we have roughly 70 people we're traveling with, but it's still disappointing.
I'll just rely on other teams to hear stories of how great it was.
