I had read about the uninstaller directory earlier, but I couldn't find it where the resource told me it would be - a Windows search dug deeper to locate it. I ran those, and just for fun, I then renamed my computer before reinstalling, based on a control system forums post detailing a related Wind River problem. "Dell" was a rather lame name, anyway .

Back up and running - why they bury the uninstalls so deeply, I'll never understand. Thanks for setting me down the correct path.
Out of curiosity, do you let multiple users (Windows login users) use Workbench on your machine?

As long as there are no Wind River processes running, you should be able to completely delete c:\windriver from the Windows explorer.

If the registry is running, that would probably be a problem.
