Straight from FIRST GDC:
Default Re: Carrying of the robot after the match The recommended practice, which we believe offers the safest option, will be to remove the ROBOT from the side of the TOWER and lower it until it rests on the BUMP. Push the ROBOT off the BUMP, while one TEAM member guides it as it rolls down the BUMP. Then the TEAM member can safely step over the BUMP to the same side as the ROBOT, from where it can be safely lifted and carried from the FIELD. |
