There are many good industrial devices that use belting but the following should be considered:
Pulleys are much more money than sprockets Belts must be properly tensioned to function correctly Blets can slip, chains cannot. That's about as far as my knowledge goes. We've always used chain and sprockets just because there's no real reason not to. They are overall the best in my opinion. |
