The next BattleBots tourney is canceled. However Comedy Central won't finish airring the shows from last tournament until December or so.
By that time BattleBots could have a new tournament and television deal in hand--although I am skeptical. The early demo of the Gamecube/PS2/X-box version of BattleBots looked fantastic and it sounds totally addictive. Personally, I think the fate of BattleBots in the mass media will be determined by the success of these games. Dan
