DaveC will become famous soon enough
Was your animation shown at regionals?

Team 250, the Dynamos, was one of the 5 teams that submitted an animation to the Finger Lakes Regional (FLR). We were expecting that all five would be shown on the "big screen"; to quote Autodesk, "All Entries submitted for each Regional event will be shown at the venue on the main screen" - or not. Just the winner's was shown (congratulations go to Team 1507). One of the FLR volunteers investigated and found that FIRST had not sent copies and that FIRST insists nothing goes on the "big screen" unless it's from FIRST. Was this a glitch just at Finger Lakes or did other regionals have similar disappointments?

Re: Was your animation shown at regionals?

If I remember properly, last year during lunch break at the Silicon Valley Regional, they played the animations on a loop. I'm not 100% sure and might be imagining things though...

Re: Was your animation shown at regionals?

They didn't show them at Kansas City either. They asked for feedback/suggestions and I mentioned that they consider it for next year.

342's animation is shown at all regionals... but that is the safety animation of course.

Re: Was your animation shown at regionals?

None but the winning one were shown at NJ either, which was rather disappointing.
