Any info on 71 as soon as possible would be appreciated. I bet they figured out how to legally divert both towers

Ball redirector is what I envisioned them building when I was in WWBB (What Would Beatty Build?) part of my design process. As amazing as 469 is, there are some minor improvement that can be made to that strategy.

Re: 2010 Midwest Regional

Nope, 71 is not another 469 type robot. Instead they have a 4 wheel crab, side rollers ball magnet (I think) and a super effective lifter (kinda like 2753). Should be another good year for The Beast.

Other than the normal teams doing well, 2949 was impressive. They have a suction similar to 111 and a solid kicker that is accurate from the middle zone.

The most impressive team, I thought was 16.

As epected, there are a lot of elite teams but then a lot of teams that will be still working to get their robot to work right until pits closing.

There were not too many field errors until the end when alot of the teams were just going to test their connection, even if they were not ready to practice. It leads me to believe that most of the errors were on the teams, not the field.

Re: 2010 Midwest Regional

I think you must have missed the wormhole generator they have hiding in there, that way they can manipulate the balls without anyone knowing. They don't even need a human trident holder, their robot does it all with max efficiency. All of this is done, of course with one 18.5 Ah battery.
