How do the teams get from the hotel to the arena and how long does it take?
There are plenty of hotel rooms within walking distance. Most teams stay at one of those hotels in the downtown area. Is the pit realy far from the playing field? I have heard a mile and I can't believe that. Never measured, but it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the pits to the field without traffic. I'd say that's about a half mile. Do most teams go out for lunch? 45 minutes is not a long time to make that happen. Lots of food choices including a picnic outside. GWCC has the best food at the lowest cost. That's where the pits are. Can you bring food to the pits? Not supposed to. |
