Best Finals Matches Ever

I took some video of the 3 finals matches of the Detroit regional. This is probably the best finals I've ever seen, everyone was at the edges of their seats the WHOLE TIME! Sooo good!

67, 27, 51, 201, 1, 1023 Thank you all for the best show of my life.

Nothing can ever compare to the finals on Einstein in 07. Those were the greatest series of matches I have ever seen and I do not think anything will ever come close to it.

Re: Best Finals Matches Ever

Thank you for the video. That is the first time I have been able to see a replay of our robot in action.

Now I can watch it 100 more times, too see where we can make improvements.

Several IRI matches outrank that, in my opinion. Granted, I've only seen any of them via video, but IRI is just a whole new level, especially compared to the (relatively boring) 2007.

Re: Best Finals Matches Ever

The thing in my opinion that made this finals so great was that, the semifinals were just as exciting!! 4 matches to determine the winner of 2 vs 3 !! Also the alliance who was winning at the end of match 4 didn't win!! Red card cost them a shot at the finals!!

The first match was just magical!!! Watching 4 robots hang in under 10 seconds, was amazing!!! I was in awwe!! Everyone who worked on the field was excitied to see that, "THAT JUST HAPPENED!!". To those who feel this game might be boring, watch this video!

Thanks for the videos! I can now see what we did wrong so we can do even better next time (if there is a next time).

Those were some amazing matches! I'm still in awe of the 4 robot hang. That was definitely my season highlight so far!

Re: Best Finals Matches Ever

if you think this video was awesome you should have been there. Let me put it this way, wings of fire to our left, hot right below us, rush to our right, and the feds were on the other side of rush, juggernauts scattered everywhere, and the smaller but somehow loouder bedford express at the bottom of the stands going absolutely nutz! I think my flip has some sort of sound maximum cuz it was SOO much louder at that moment then was actually picked up. I'm surprised i kept the camera as steady as it was to be honest lol.

I think about 300+ people thank you for your steady hand

And I can remember how excited I was after that first match. I think I jump-hugged at least 15 people, and I was on the field.

I'm not sure. Einstein in 2006 was pretty over the top.

However, the 1's forcing 51's side hang was pretty sweet. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but if it was I'd put in up with tube on the ramp that cost 71 World Championship #5 in 2007.

I'm proud so say that we were not only in this final match, but the "over the top" 2006 Einstein

But to strategy, I believe that it was our intention to block 51's hang, since with them up there, 67 and 1023 would get a constant stream of balls.

We were right in the middle of everyone too! It was INCREDIBLY loud. I was dancing at the bottom of the stands approximately in front of 1023, 1, and 27, and could clearly hear the explosions of noise from them and the rest of the finalists. Being able to hear all of the cheers blend together and fight each other was amazing.
