That game we played with them today...I thought we were going to lose . I guess we got lucky. I can't predict winners for BMR, there are A LOT of really strong robots this year (and some nice looking rookie teams!)

I just hope the robot performs the way it should and stays intact to be honest!

Good luck to everyone in North Carolina!

Thanks!
I think that 1086 with the right alliance partners will do very well. They have a great Midfield and Nearfield bot

Other great teams I think have a shot are 79, 337 and 900. It's going to be a fun regional. Good Luck to everyone there!

The 67, 51, 1023 alliance was devastating. That is all I can say. They truly tore through their competition.

Haha, I think this is a compliment, so thank you! Lol. But you guys gave us a very large challenge trying to keep you off of 67! So congrats to your team for all of your accomplishments!

Re: Predict the winning alliance at your regional?

Well I'm betting everyone else's plan going into GTR and WAT is to break up the undoubted powerhouse that is 1114+2056. Many teams have been trying to do just that for the last 3 years, unsuccessfully.

all these teams produce solid robots every year. and i dont think that this year will be an exception. i would dare to say that every one of these teams will be in elims, and at least three will be finalists
I would also throw in 3025 after their impressive showing last year at Palmetto. Also if you mention 2815, you are mentioning the twin 1398 too.
A lot of these teams had some rough outings in week one, so I'm sure they will step things up.

Re: Predict the winning alliance at your regional?

Troy District Regional.....

The number one alliance will have 469 on it... Its just who is number 1..
numerous #1's could be 33,217,573 or 910.

But if I had to choose now.. 217/469/1023 (Doubt 1023 will go that long this time)!

A good number two alliance to face them off 33/910/326

Truley a deep regional! But I subspect predicting week 5 for Michigan State Championship will be immposible.. Top 64 in one state with about 10 or 12 dominate robots!!! Please o'please can I get ten seeds!!!

469 could decline the #1 alliance, if they were carried. I imagine at least one time this year that will happen.

Yes this could very well happen... But that would probably begin a super alliance killer... Having the captians being the top seeds... Kinda like Great Lakes 2008...

If I remember correctly, 3025 had a sail on their robot, correct? No offense to them, but the only thing that was impressive was that they managed to get a match schedule that got them to rank #1.

Neither 2815 nor 1398 got into the finals at Bayou, but I know that my team is making drastic changes to our robot, and I'd be foolish to expect them to sit around until Palmetto.
