Re: Inventor 2009 vs. 2010

Can someone tell me if Inventor 2010 files can be saved as Inventor 2009 files? Some company created some 2010 files for us and told us that they can't save as 2009 and we must upgrade to use the file. I find this real hard to believe.

Re: Inventor 2009 vs. 2010

You could have them save the files as step or iges but you can't save 2010 files to be read by 2009 like Enigma's puzzle said

Re: Inventor 2009 vs. 2010

2010 is well worth it because of the built in rendering and finite elements analysis features. There are also a number of other small improvements. Shrinkwrap is also great
