cRio not on
Hi, while driving our robot, we suddenly lost communication, then we checked the robot and saw that the (-) cable of the cRio was disconnected. we reconnected it and the power light of the cRio was off..... we just don't know what could have happen! help?
and another thing.. today before that happened the robot didn't show the voltage level on the PC classmate... don'tknow if it means anything.. Thanks Team Artemis #3083 |

Re: cRio not on
If you had something pull hard enough on the wires to pop one out, you likely popped the other one out too. It could be just barely out, or internally broken.
Check your wiring visually, and then use a multimeter to check voltages. |

Re: cRio not on
If the negative wire was free to move around, it could have touched the positive contact and shorted the 24 volt supply from the Power Distribution Board. Verify that you still have 24 volts present at the cRIO's power connector.

Re: cRio not on
we still have a 24v call, but we checked all the wiring and it was ok

Re: cRio not on
another thing.. we connected it originally v-v and c-c but the wiring datasheet says nc-c and v-v... that's not making any sense.. specially because it worked with v-v and c-c.....
