Senior Class Gifts

As a team we always have seniors do a little thing before they leave past years they've done an awards to give to all the mentors and stuff like that this year we wanted to do a larger gift for the team but we are stuck as far as what to give to the team because we dont just want to write a check to the team.. so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that could possibly get us past this mind block??

Fundraise for, purchase, and install a piece of machinery (mill, lathe, CNC mill / lathe, drill press, band saw) that your team will use in the future. Nt a lot of teams have portable mills, band saws, or drill presses.

Re: Senior Class Gifts

we actually just had a lathe donated to our team but we were thinking just a tad bit smaller because all of the money is coming out of the seniors pockets. But thanks for the suggestion!

A decent computer to code on... I really need that, most computers are from years ago...

Re: Senior Class Gifts

How about something like building a nicer robot cart, a movable battery storage/charging cart, or something of that nature? Our battery cart was built by a student who has since graduated as an independent project. The parts were relatively inexpensive, and having a storage system designed to house our batteries, chargers, and spill kit, with proper electrical wiring, is a huge benefit for us. (Thank you, Hans.)
