Re: Wireless Connection issues

Reformat and reimage the Classmate, we had to go through with it, apparently we are the first and only known incident of that happening, you guys have the same problem. The only way to fix it is reformat it and reflash, and DO NOT modify any thing. dont even develop on it to be safe... Apparently FIRST chaged boot up settings and stuff so it has to stay the same... Just warning you, it takes good 2 hours to fully reformat and reflash..

Re: Wireless Connection issues

From a post to the WRRF mailing list:

Open up the computer that you will connect to your wireless bridge
2. Go to Network Connections in My computer (If you are doing this on your Classmate, skip steps 2-10.)
3. Right clock on Local Area Connection and select Properties
4. Click Internet Protocol(TCP/IP), Select Properties
5. Select "Use the Following IP address"
6. Type in 10.xx.yy.6 or 10.xx.yy.4 (where xxyy is your team number. If xxyy has leading zeros, they can be omitted) for the IP address
7. Type in 255.0.0.0 for the Subnet Mask
8. Type in 10.xx.yy.2 for the Default Gateway
9. Click ok when done
10. Now connect your computer to the Wireless bridge using a Ethernet Cable
11. Using your web browser, type in the following address:

a. httpp://10.xx.yy.1/ (Where xxyy is your team number) Then hit enter
12. Type in "admin" in both the User name and password boxes and click "log In" (If you changed the password, use that instead)
13. Click the "Basic" tab, then click "Wireless"
15. In the Box labeled "Security mode" and select open, or no security.
16. Click "Save Settings" and let the Wireless bridge reboot.
17. Plug back into your cRio and you're good to go!
