I think "defense" is poorly defined. All robots should be playing defense under my definition, which is anything that slows or denies a scoring opportunity for the other alliance.

With any dollar amount to invest I would be more interested in the number of individuals (students is too narrow) impacted than the number of teams created--after all, this is about people. - kramarczyk [more]
